I am keeping my promise to return this blog to its regularly scheduled programming. This is where I get to speak as “Cheryl the writer.” However, I seem to have discovered I have plenty more to say as “Cheryl the teacher” or “Cheryl the individual” or “Cheryl the citizen of BC” so I created another blog solely for that purpose.
If you’re interested in following me as I continue to stand up for public education in our province, please go to Putting Students First.
Not only will you be able to see what I’m up to, but you’ll be able to make a stand too if you’d like.
Thank you so much for your continued interest in the state of education in BC. I hope to see you over at the new blog!
Yours in Education,
Cheryl.

I am also interested in the education of children. My child here in N.B is in grade eight and i discovered that he does not know how to write.Apparently this due to computers usage does not seem to be part of the curriculum. This is a big concern for me knowing children wont even know how to write their name.
